To play Bloodstone Frontier, all you need is a deck of playing cards and two opponents with a Gang of 3-5 Characters each

Both players have a Hand of number cards, drawn from the Supply Deck, with which they perform actions, make attacks and defend their Characters

To Move a Character in your Gang, play a card from your Hand so as it is touching the Base of the Character

A black-suited card lets a Character Move once so as they're touching another point on the card edge. The player then draws a new card from the Supply Deck

A red-suited card lets a single Character Move twice, but does not allow a draw from the Supply Deck

Alternatively, a red-suited card can be used to Move two characters once each. Again, no draw is made from the Supply Deck

To Shoot, play a card from your Hand. The higher the number and suit, the more accurate the shot

Ranges are measured using the cards

Play one or more cards to Defend against the shot. Multiple cards can only be played if they are from the same suit

To Brawl, play a card from your Hand. The higher the number and suit, the more powerful the attack

Play one or more cards to Defend against the attack. If you can't successfully Defend, the Character is Taken Out and leaves behind a Stash

To Loot a Stash, play a card from your Hand to make a draw from the Asset Deck. As with other Actions, playing a black or red card has a different advantage

A game of Bloodstone Frontier is won by either Taking Out all of the opposing Gang, or by Looting Assets of a high enough total value
