Pero esos datos son arrastrados; por lo que estuve viendo, el principal problema viene de la división audiovisual (en los informes financieros cuatrimestrales de IDW Media Holdings). Y también es donde tienen más esperanza de remontar. Aunque se ve que están intentando adelgazar su estructura (está anunciada la venta de CTM). 2020 fue mejor que 2019...
IDW Games casi ni aparece mencionado en los informes (solo en positivo tras el KS de Batman, jajaja)...

Capítulo 4: Parece que el juego Bomberman también estaría en peligro según uno de sus diseñadores.
"As a fellow board game designer that worked out the still unreleased Bomberman board game for IDW Games I will say the issue is more complex than it appears. IDW made some big bets in their media side of the company doing tv shows for streaming services and it cost them in ways that affected the other divisions of their company. IDW Games is now a skeleton crew, former staff Emerson and I dealt with initially were let go of the company, and then the people that replaced them. Further, this is anecdotal, but Konami has proven too difficult to work with, while also at the same time not giving them the time of day.
Will the Bomberman board game be cancelled next? I guess we’ll find out as my contract also expires this year. Things are looking dire though.
A shame, they were both dream IPs to work on for Emerson and I."

Pues según una entrevista que han concedido a Dicebreaker, IDW games cierra definitivamente pero no sin antes entregar su joya de la corona Batman: The Animated Series cuya produccíon ya ha terminado y sólo queda enviarlo. Lo que se van a forrar los especuladores con este juego...
IDW games mantendrá toda su actividad hasta finales de 2021, y seguirá mandando los repuestos necesarios.
Según ellos, los motivos del cierre es el aumento de los costos comerciales. Una pena.
