Borro mi hilo, que el tuyo viene con el aviso interesante sobre el peligro del proyecto.
[member=384]Esper[/member] Your comment came in just before heading to bed. But I feel if this is a concern to you or to many, I should clarify anything that may be on your mind. Per our last campaign, we faced a lot of challenges because we did buy the IP and game mechanics from of Martial Arts: The Card Game. We own that and all the rights to it (it's in our risks and challenges section in the bottom of the page) and with the exception of 10 art pieces from our series 2 attempt to fund Martial Arts series 2, that was the only association we had with him. I've never played Dragon Tides but I've heard of it obviously. It didn't occur to me that there would be that kind of association because we aren't borrowing any mechanics from it. Street Masters: Rise of the Kingdom is an idea I've had in 2015 and because I value the game mechanics first, I wanted to make sure to commission the best, in my opinion, which is why I presented this idea to Adam and Brady Sadler last year. I gave them a description of what kind of game we wanted to create and through rigorous and ongoing playtesting, we have an amazing game with a unique, modular system and a lot of replayability.I'm not sure how there is a way to separate any animosity or suspicion, but we're doing our due diligence to ensure this game, the quality of our components and the miniatures are the best that they can be. We've been blessed with an awesome team of talent and have been able to bring it in front of reviewers an wonderful people who have helped us constantly improve the game. We've invested a lot of time, blood, and sweat into the game and components so that once funded, we can continue further into production. As we are now, we're excited that our miniatures and artwork are almost complete and our graphic designer is working on card edits dynamically while Adam and Brady playtest the content they've created for each innovative stage, boss, and characters. Our dice in the prototype press kits was ordered from Chessex using clipart symbols (check out our rulebook for updated icons) and our cards were printed through Game Crafter. I'm not sure if that helps any? The art was commissioned overseas and our minis are actual poly-resin minis sent to us from a factory we're working with. Background story stuff was created by the team and myself (through a lot of trial and error), tributing to a lot of our favorite video games like double dragon, bad dudes, dynasty warriors, street fighter, king of fighters, fatal fury, etc. That's also where the idea came from for boss battles since it's how the genre is. I'm not sure if there's any similarities to the other game but you can check out our rulebook as well as watch the videos from Adam and Brady, Man vs. Meeples, Board Game Beasts and Rolling Dice and Taking Names to see for sure.
