El caganet, significar caganer, lo del pesebre que sale defecando???
Hi everybody,I am back. And found you getting restless. Here are a few little comments:@ Kurk Neal, Ashraam, and others: There are two boxes of miniatures and other components. These have a plastic insert for the minis. Cards come in a plastic tray, too. The rest will lie on top of said boxes and insert. There is absolutely no room for another insert (and no use). A general word about inserts: their purpose is to protect the game components. And only until you hold it in your hands. What you do with it afterwards is up to you. Many throw trays away, others sleeve their cards, etc. Do what you want, the insert's purpose is fulfilled when the game is in your hands undamaged. So yes, Martin Aas Andersen, I am afraid sleeved cards will not fit. If they did, the cards could potentially become damaged during shipping.Shipping: All containers are en route and the first container has already arrived in the US. Unfortunately, containers come full with the same components so we have to wait until all containers are there to start assembly. Therefore: no real update available. But we said "March" for shipping out.Timing: This is a massive operation. I cannot refrain from repeating that. We will all do what we can to get the games out but we cannot anounce dates. A full truckload is only 2500 games so we will have to work by truck load with the fulfilment centers. That means some will have the game earlier than others, but I can by no means tell you when the first will have her or his game, and when the last one will leave or arrive.Production: A little clarification here. We have made the miniatures in China, and the cards, too. (We have fantastic factories there that make great cards. The factories are huge. And the cards absolutely great. It's true. Only we did not make the Mexicans pay for it. But we made the Chinese pay for it! It's true!). Then the miniatures and cards were shipped to our factories in the US (Lafayette, IN) and Germany (Jettingen-Scheppach). We print everything else at these to locations and then assemble the games. After that we need to send them to the fulfilment centers. There the volume of 450 pallets which equals about 14 to 16 complete trucks - arriving one at a time as we will despatch the games whenever a truck is full - needs to be handled, repacked and send out in batches. So: we will send it out as soon as we can, and it will be processed and shipped to backers with the quickest turnaround we can achieve. Not only so you can get them quickly, but also to free the space again at every step along the way. Whatever time the mail requires afterwards we cannot say, nor influence. So: in March games will be ready. When exactly? Beats me. And will all games be ready in March? Hopefully. It is a process that takes more than a day or two, it may well stretch over a week or more.Somebody said he waited a year of so, so he can wait a bit more. Please all be patient. No one is delaying anything deliberately, it will be as fast as possible.Cheers Frank Jaeger LUDO FACT
