La moderación de BGG ha borrado los dos últimos mensajes de Miguel Martín en su hilo sobre su asociación en el que criticaba a Darkstone, y también nuestras las respuestas a ellos.

Entre que el motivo de borrado es raro ("promoción de web personal") y que el hilo no tenía gran visibilidad y estaba medio en castellano, parece que alguien se ha dedicado a pedir el borrado a los moderadores.

NINJA EDIT: he recuperado al menos la respuesta que yo le escribí. La recopio aquí porque no quiero que se pierda, y porque sigue siendo una respuesta aplicable al artículo que nos dedicó en su web ("DS ni con un palo").

I'm a Darkstone user. I often inform about HQ25A related news in the BGG thread "Rumors, news and leaks from the Darkstone forums". As any follower of that thread knows, I have been very critical of the HQ25A project since the very beginning.

I am not part of the Darkstone staff, but I am an active writer in the Darkstone thread you mention (the one about HQ25A), and have to say that:

You were not trolled in that thread.
Your association was not trolled in that thread.
You were not slandered in that thread.
Your association was not slandered in that thread.

What you and your association got in that thread was just criticism. Harsh criticism, if you like. The criticism was fair enough to fall within Darkstone rules of behaviour, and that's why it stayed.

You were very quick to paint that criticism as slander and trolling, became extremely defensive and called the entire forum "a nest of trolls". That's why you were called out by an Administrator, who asked you to rethink your words, as you shouldn't generalize the criticism of a few users to a whole forum. Because, being the head of a whole association which is right now in the spotlight, those words could greatly hurt Darkstone.

You were not going to be banned for that because Darkstone is a neutral place that doesn't ban users for taking sides in any business.

Still, you reaffirmed yourself into your paranoia and you nuked your user account, fleeing the Darkstone forums. Afterwards, you were rightfully roasted for that, because you are supposed to have 600 members under your leadership, and yet you got scared and ran away from mere criticism. It felt like a joke.

The Darkstone administrators clarified that they have nothing against you, and specifically told that you are still welcome in Darkstone and asked you to return. You simply don't want to.

Then you used the website of your association as a personal blog to thrash talk about us, letting loose your persecution complex. Now you are trying the same in BGG. This is nuts.

The biggest irony in all of this, is that most users from Darkstone are overtly anti-Ludofilia and pro-backers activists. We seek information, contrast rumours, shitpost anti-HQ25A memes, translate news, help people with the legal refunds... In other words, practically all of us are very happy with the idea of your association filing legal action against Ludofilia. These people you call trolls are your natural allies, and you not only failed to attract them, but you are now trashing them. It's true that some Darkstone users are very critical with you now, but that's because a while ago, they tried to join your association, and you supposedly banned them for asking too many questions or not being docile enough. I am not one of them, maybe they were rightfully banned, but we have many people telling the exact same story. Still, they do wish your association success in your legal endeavours. And so do I.

Miguel, you may be a great guy and a great organizer, I do not challenge that. But I think the AAHQ25A victims association would benefit in choosing a representative that can handle some hardship and does not feel the urge to retreat into safe channels where he can control all the speech taking place. And you totally should remove from the FAQ of your association those insane mentions of "a group of trolls and haters that for unknown reasons seek our downfall".

This situation is stupid. Please rethink what you are doing.

I would love to see you returning to Darkstone. I have been translating and sorting HQ25A related news, so I knew about you long ago, and I was happy to see you entering Darkstone for the first time and being able to meet you personally. But this is nuts.

yo no veo que el motivo sea raro, autopromoción de página web es, desde que solo busca  captar clientes para el abogado y su organización

Aparte de lo que cueste crear la asociacion( no creo que mucho) el resto va a parar todo al abogado? Seguro?
Veria normal que se quedara algo el responsable de todo esto por el faenón.
Pero en ese caso deberia decirlo en los estatutos de la asociacion o en alguna parte,no?

De todos modos lo de la ONG me parece bien, luego repartir dos euros o lo que sobre entre 500 es un rollo y es mejor donarlo. Aunque yo, sabiendo el curro que lleva detrás, votaría por obsequiar a los organizadores recompensandoles de algún modo. Al final se dejan la piel, el tiempo y su dinero en beneficio de los demás. Lo pueden hacer mal o bien pero lo hacen altruistamente.

A pesar de que no se le den bien las relaciones públicas, y de que muchos le hayáis "hecho la cruz" por haber antagonizado gratuitamente nuestro foro, no creo que ni Miguel ni su asociación tengan nada de malicia.

Son los mismos que estuvieron insistiendo a periodistas para que cubriesen la noticia, lo que culminó en el artículo de Canal Sur. Han estado intentando mover las cosas desde hace tiempo y de forma altruista, tienen todas las papeletas de ser legítimos.

Vale, le han borrado los posts en bgg. Si es consecuente ahora debería de escribir un post en el blog sobre esto, no?

Efectivamente, es una suerte que alguien mueva este tema, porque sino acabaría cayendo en el sueño de los justos.

El problema es que cuando se representa a un colectivo se debe ser muy cauto en lo que se dice, y muy transparente. Desde aquí, Facebook, etc. mucha gente les dijo que era buena política ser transparentes y también recibieron apoyo (incluida mucha gente desde DS) para cualquier tema que necesitasen (difusión, buscar alojamiento de web, asesoramiento, etc.).

Es una lástima que nos vean como un elemento "malo" para ellos. Para mi ni Miguel ni nadie vinculado al proyecto es malvado ni nada por el estilo. Únicamente pienso que se equivocan al tacharnos de "trolls" porque aquí en el foro hay gente muy diversa, con opiniones diferentes, pero todos podemos ser de ayuda para lo que están intentando conseguir.
