The sound of the horns cuts off the old Alfarinn. The Drekar from each clan depart the Roskilde harbor, bringing on board the most valiant and skillful heroes. The hunt for the mysterious Runic Gems, fragments of divine power, has just begun!


We are proud to announce a new project: Runar, a competitive board game for 1-4 players with stunning comic-style miniatures, that will be launched on Kickstarter in a few months. Each player manages a group of three Viking heroes through frozen and harsh lands, where savage and lethal creatures will try to harm them.
Players will choose their heroes and form their party. They will score points by defeating powerful Enemies, recovering precious Runic Gems, achieving different objectives, and defeating opponent heroes. The Destiny Cards will mark each game's different moment and trigger the last round. The group of heroes that will score the most points will gain access to the Ragnarok!

A mission generation system will create a different scenario for each game by using goal cards and setup cards. The Campaign mode will bring your heroes through many adventures, more and more complex, with different winning conditions, until the final clash!
The option of creating different groups of heroes, together with the mission generation system, will grant Runar extreme variability. You will never play the same game twice!


Sólo puedo decir que este tipo de estilo artístico me encanta. Pero el tema de vikingos la verdad que no me va y le deberían dar muchas vueltas de tuerca para que me acabase gustando. El que sea competitivo también mola. Últimamente todas las campañas son cooperativas. Y bueno, de la editorial ya...
