Announcing ELDEN RING™: The Board Game

We could not be more excited to tell you that ELDEN RING™: The Board Game is coming soon to Kickstarter.

In a vast, sprawling world of decaying grandeur that unfolds through your exploration, you'll embark on a huge and varied adventure, visiting iconic locations and crossing paths with familiar enemies and characters. Play solo, or with up to three other Tarnished.

Experience the video game's characteristically challenging fights recreated through intelligent, dice-free combat, where you'll need to strategise and adapt your plans in each encounter — whether that be a lowly Godrick Soldier or the Grafted King himself.

Steamforged Games Announces ELDEN RING™ Board Game
Friday 16th September 19:00 UTC / 20:00 BST - Manchester, UK - Steamforged Games, leading tabletop games developer and publisher (DARK SOULS™: The Board Game, DARK SOULS™: The Card Game, Monster Hunter World: The Board Game, Horizon Zero Dawn™: The Board Game, the Resident Evil™ board games, and more) announce they will bring ELDEN RING™ to the tabletop in the official board game adaptation.

ELDEN RING™'s adventure in the vast and seamless world of the Lands Between have gripped video gamers and wowed reviewers since its release in February this year, with sales surpassing 16.6 million worldwide.

Steamforged Games have a well-established record of faithfully adapting video games into unforgettable tabletop experiences, and ELDEN RING™ will continue in this tradition. 

Like the video game, the ELDEN RING™ board game will immerse players in the forsaken Lands Between. In a vast, sprawling world of decaying grandeur that unfolds through their exploration, 1-4 'Tarnished' players will embark on a huge and varied adventure, visiting iconic locations and crossing paths with familiar enemies and characters.

The video game's characteristically challenging fights will be recreated by intelligent dice-free combat, requiring players to strategise and adapt their plans during each encounter — whether that be a lowly Godrick Soldier or the Grafted King himself.

Steamforged will launch the ELDEN RING™ board game on Kickstarter, with the date to be announced soon. More details will be shared in the lead-up to the launch.

Steamforged's first sizable crowdfunding campaign, DARK SOULS™: The Board Game ran on Kickstarter in 2016 and became one of the highest-funded campaigns in the history of the platform at over $5million.

Cambiado gracias. Es lo que tiene hacer las cosas desde el móvil.

Steam forged? Manolo y Benito de las compañías? Menos mal, estoy fuera entonces!

Puff... si fuera una adaptación del videojuego sería espectacular... un juego jodido y difícil de dominar, con mucha táctica y con total libertad de construir el personaje como quieras y puedas ir y luchar contra el enemigo que te dé la gana... y puedes ganar si tienes la habilidad suficiente.

Creo que ya como videojuego es un rara avis casi imposible... como juego de mesa es muy complicado, si no imposible de adaptar tal cual.
O errará queriendo ser fiel o errará queriendo mantener el espíritu y cambiando el juego.

Empresa complicada en la que se meten... o sacacuartos sin mucha complicación.

Ya solo por las minis puede que vendan mucho sin siquiera saber si hay un juego decente detrás...

Ya hemos tenido hace nada un KS de stls de From Software...

Como sea como el Dark Souls... ni con un palo

Yo estoy dentro únicamente por las minis, que es lo que verdaderamente me interesa. He leído muchísimas pestes del Dark Souls (y parece que totalmente justificadas) por lo que al final me eché para atrás a la hora de pillarlo de segunda mano. Pero en este me da lo mismo, la mecánica ojalá que esté bien, pero si resulta ser las chapas 2.0 me dará exactamente igual.

Ya he añadido la "o" que faltaba 

A mi esta compañia no me gusta, me da mucho coraje que tengan IPs que me encantan, la verdad, acabé entrando en el KS del juego de mesa de resident evil, del primero.

Pero me he fijado que en los ultimos meses han sacado... 5 Kickstarters (?)

La ultima en la que yo participe fue del 26 de oct al 11 de nov de 2021...

Muy facil, mucha pasta con IPs que hacen despertar la expectación pero luego ya el tema poscampaña y entrega pues como que no va con nosotros. A lo largo de los proximos años ya si eso se recibe algo.
